The team was amazing! Despite encountering some setbacks with the HOA, they persisted in obtaining approval for my project, and I am now delighted to see my solar panels successfully installed on my roof. Given that my HOA is notoriously difficult to work with, I almost gave up hope, but fortunately, IntegrateSun went above and beyond in taking care of all the necessary arrangements to secure the necessary approvals...!!!

IntegrateSun has not been a…
IntegrateSun has not been a good experience for us…at all. My experience has been so bad that I question the legitimacy of the positive reviews I have seen. My experience has been so below acceptable that, I have refused to refer my family and neighbors to them (atleast 7). The only positive I have is the install crew, those guys worked hard and took the time to explain what was going on…without being prompted. I initially wanted a system that could sustain off the grid and I was maneuvered to another direction (was told it was not possible for residential areas, yet). We found out that our system gets shut off with everyone else’s if the grid goes down (no matter if we are producing energy or not) during the freeze. Imagine thinking you, your wife and 2 small children will be okay (atleast during the day) only to find out…that was not the case. I was very specific in my questioning before going solar. I used the same checklist I had to use when I got an ATC tower built when I was in the Air Force. So, you can only imagine how thorough my questioning was. It was so thorough, I was offered a job but, when I asked why my panels aren’t working during the day…I was told “I never said that.” What? That was the main reason we wanted solar and I made that very clear.

Now fast forward 4 years later, last month I received a bill from Green Point for $157. Immediately we looked at production meter on the website and see our panels have not been delivering energy since February 4, 2023. We were told that IntegrateSun monitors our system and there we were 5 weeks later no notification, app alert, phone call or email. No worries, I call to get someone moving on this. 4 days go by where I call and wait for an update on a solution…the only time I get an update is if I call. The 7th day, I get told the inverter is bad. They will order the part, have it delivered and then have someone come and install it. I was even told they will be tracking the part…GREAT, thank you. Once again, nothing was done until I initiated the contact. The part sat in my garage for 4 days before I called. I was told they will send someone out (no scheduled time). Keep in mind, I call between 10:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. every time I call so, there is always time to follow up. Now, we are day 1 into a 3 day forecast for rain and I cannot get anyone to deliver me an action plan to get our system back online…67 days later.

It has taken me 4 years to finally say enough is enough and write this review. I treated IntegrateSun as a small business trying to workout the kinks in their system and gave them the benefit of the doubt. I felt no referrals was a large enough statement but, evidently not. If I had the opportunity to get a Solar Powered system again, I definitely would NOT use IntegrateSun.

Going through a debacle of…
Going through a debacle of an install currently with IntegrateSun and will update as progress is made but, for now, this is where we are at:

Day one (Saturday): panels should arrive 12-1p and installation will commence. Panels and crew #1 arrived @7p. Too dark to work.
Day two (Sunday): Install team #1 arrived and were ill-informed and ill-equipped to begin installation. Seems they missed the pitch angle/height of the roof and needed scaffolding and harnesses. No work done. A different crew will be used and they should only need 4 hours to install because it’s a small job according to IntegrateSun.
Day three (Monday): Install team #2 arrive 4 hours late, took some pictures and left.
Day four (Tuesday): Install team #2 arrives but will wait on electrician with the scaffolding. Waited all day for electrician to bring the truck with scaffolding. It never arrived. IntegrateSun is going to employ a 3rd crew.
Day five (Wednesday): No-show from install crew #3 as a person was out ill that day.
Day six (Thursday): Install crew shows up, sets up scaffolding. No panels installed.
Day seven (Friday): Install crew #3 begins installing roof rails. No panels installed
Day eight (Saturday): Install crew #3 completes railing installation and installs 12 of 28 panels. Electrician discovers the approved plans do not include the battery bank so a revision will need to be submitted and approved. Batteries were discussed day one with IntegrateSun consultant and were known to be on site (I bought my own from Signature Solar). No electrical work done.
Day nine (Sunday): Install crew #3 completes panel installation. No electrical work done.

IntegrateSun now wants me to pay an additional $5,000 to add the wiring for batteries and a generator.

Frustrating project with expectations being shattered daily.

Hoping we get it resolved and I will update as the situation changes.

**UPDATE**
On January 21st, install crew #3 was able to complete the installation (configured correctly) and turn the system on. PTO took 2 more weeks as the original plans had to be modified to the actual installation config and we are still waiting on on the city to re-approve the design changes. Hoping that is soon as well. For my troubles, IntegrateSun did eat the costs of the re-application fee which is nice.

Bottom line: I get that it is hard to find good people and that there are certain hurdles that may be challenging to overcome. After a call with one of the co-owners, this was explained to me and they would make it right which they did. My hope is that they learn from my experience and preemptively address some of the communication and logistical problems post-pandemic.

**UPDATE 2**
Moving to 3 stars since things are progressing forward.

I was very particular about…
I was very particular about the equipment I wanted to install on my property: MADE IN THE USA was VERY important to me & my family. Sean set me up with mission solar panels and I’m liking what I’m seeing so far! The installation crew was on time and they cleaned everything after themselves. Three months of almost no electric bills sounds to me like I got what I wanted

They answered my questions and helped me through the decision making process. Unfortunately my credit isn’t good enough to qualify for solar financing yet, but this review is for their sales team’s patience and knowledge answering my “many” questions. I’m working on my credit and will be going solar with them by the end of the year.

My experience with Integratesun has been fantastic. After meeting them at a home and garden show, I decided to install a solar system through them. The process was incredibly smooth and the results have been amazing. My energy bills have decreased significantly, and I couldn't be happier with the decision to switch to solar.
