Imperium Energy Overview

Imperium Energy is a small-sized company of fewer than 50 employees based in the San Bernardo Valley, California. Established in 2014, the company boasts a yearly revenue of $5.4 million, and though installations are in the mid-to-higher price ranges, customers appear thrilled with the level of service received.

The average installation cost for Imperium Energy is around the $14,200 mark, and consistent 5-star reviews put the company towards the top end of the recommendation spectrum. Across various review platforms, Imperium Energy’s pre and post-sale services were praised, along with installation quality.

Installation Costs and Process

Imperium Energy Costs

Though Imperium Energy’s average installation cost is slightly higher than most competitors, the quality of work is widely praised across different platforms. Free estimates within 24 hours are also on offer. Various customers explained in their reviews that the price is more than worth the quality of the work.

The only potential downside is that although Imperium Energy offers $0 down financing, there are no mentions of the federal tax incentives associated with solar energy system installations on the company’s website. However, it might be possible to apply for them separately.

One customer explained that though they had plans to fix their roof in the future, Imperium Energy’s financing plan made it easier for them to go ahead and do so while installing the solar panels. The same person also pointed out that Imperium Energy helped them get a more significant tax credit for the project that helped with the payments.

Imperium Energy Legitimacy

From the many positive reviews online, Better Business Bureau accreditation and Solar Energies Industry Association and American Solar Energy Society accreditations, Imperium Energy appears to be a highly legitimate company.

On BBB, its score is A+, while also carrying 5-star ratings on other solar review platforms. Its contact details, such as location, contact number, and e-mail, are all readily available on the company website, further adding to said legitimacy. Customer reviews also indicate that response time is short and issues are handled efficiently in case of any trouble.

Imperium Energy Maintenance

The company claims to offer the best warranties in the area, and customer reviews appear to back this. One review, in particular, explained that there were some leakage areas during several days of rain. Imperium Energy was quick to evaluate the problems and effected repairs immediately, with the customer pointing out that since then, there have been no further issues.

The overwhelming majority of reviews speak of a company that delivers on keeping customers informed and involved at all stages of installation. The teams putting the panels in place were also greatly praised, including a review detailing the “full package” the client opted for, with the customer being left happy enough with the work to recommend it to their neighbor.

A free monitoring app is also included when installing solar panels, allowing clients to check in on panel performance.

The Solar Empower View

There’s little doubt that Imperium Energy is one of the best solar companies in California at the moment. Slightly higher-than-average costs do little to dishearten customers who widely praised all aspects of the quote and installation process. Both the sales and installation teams are lauded for their expertise, pleasant demeanor, and overall efficiency.

RUN AWAY
This company installed a brand-new roof in our newly remodeled hillside home, THREE YEARS AGO. Since then, any time it rains, the roof leaks, causing ceiling and other damage, in addition to permanent anxiety about the location of the next leak. The attitude of the CEO, Shayan "Shawn" Shahangian, is even more appalling: every time he is contacted about another leak, he is combative and insults our intelligence with his never-ending excuses. He is steadfast in being unapologetic about his shoddy work and seems to be bothered by the inconvenience our leaky roof is causing HIM.

We have reported this company to the Ca Attorney General and Better Business Bureau and are planning to sue the company and Mr. Shahangian.

This is more than an inconvenience - the frequent leaks may have caused toxic mold which could affect our health.

IF YOU NEED A NEW ROOF - FIND ANOTHER COMPANY!
