Installation costs and process

Costs

Florida is widely considered one of the best states for solar power generation in the US, which makes it much cheaper than in some other states. The average cost per watt in Florida ranges from $2.30 – $2.85, compared to other states that average around $3.50 per watt. Therefore, a typical 5kW solar system should cost anywhere between $10,250 and $13,000 to install.

The company does not provide any information about the cost of the service on its website. However, it offers you a free estimate after a detailed visit and contemplation of your solar energy requirements.

Core Energy Solar does not claim to be the cheapest company available because it believes in using only quality products, which can often be slightly more expensive. However, the company in large seems to have struck the sweet spot in balancing the two factors.

This review from a previous customer sums this up quite well:

“First off, let me start by saying that I myself am an engineer. So I can tell you that I was meticulous in not only reviewing the installation, but in selecting a company in the first place. My journey started with receiving 6 different quotes from 6 different companies. Half of them sub contracted the work and were only a “Sales Organization” which apparently is common in Miami. I for one do not like to deal with companies such as this. Of the companies that do everything in house, Core Energy Solar stood above the rest. Peter Almeida (my sales rep) was the most knowledgable & professional sales rep without question. He answered all of my questions and he honestly knew what he was speaking about. Every other rep just seemed to regurgitate the information as if they were robots. His quote was NOT the cheapest, but the overall presentation, and company reputation made me feel the most comfortable with selecting him. Lastly, it has been 6 months since my installation was performed and my system has been exceeding expectations and I have been receiving the desired results of only the minimum charge of my FPL bill. If you want a company that stays true to their word, call Core Energy Solar.”

Customer Service (Review Analysis)

Customers are generally satisfied with the company’s top-notch quality and cost-cutting benefits. There were roughly 14 customers that provided ratings of below 3 stars, which is something that potential customers should bear in mind.

The SolarEmpower View

Core Energy Solar is one of the few companies which encompasses all the client needs. Though they may be a little costly, their systems seem like extremely good value for money. We would suggest that customers be wary that the company has received a fair amount of negative feedback, and therefore they should ensure they conduct their due diligence before signing into a contract.
