Very efficient marketing program to…
Very efficient marketing program to entice the environmentally conscious such as myself to sign up with them. Seemed like a good idea at first, but soon discovered i was bamboozled! Because my bill doubled! I was on vacation most of January but the bill still double from last year! CleanChoice Energy fooled even me with a slick, seamless signup process. But trying to cancel today a whole different story! Took 4 phone calls. Somehow the phone system seems to "sense" your cancelling, so it directs you to push different option buttons. Then in the process getting to customer care, goofy things start happening. Like Spanish language suddenly comes on or you get disconnected for no reason! Somehow, finally got through to cancel, & customer care agent asking why then promising to lower bill. I said "no" and continued to cancel, because this company has no credibility in my opinion. After being "cancelled," I am now held hostage for 1-2 more billing cycles until my electric service reverts back to my old company. Getting the idea my next 2 bills will be inflated to the max! So shame on me for the stupidity of letting myself get tangled up with these shysters!

I am so happy to…
I am so happy to be using CleanChoice Energy. I rent and have no say of method of heat. I wish I could change my heating energy to CleanChoice Energy also.

charge over twice the amount…
charge over twice the amount to supply the electric that's already at an insane rate. told me it could take two billing cycles to cancel what's basically electric for $500 with $350 just to supply it.

This company sent me a piece of mail with the intent of appearing to be my electric company with a 'Second Attempt' stamp on it, the sort of thing you'd expect if you had a bill get sent to collections. I am so sick of this type of behavior from businesses.

I’d give them a zero….
I’d give them a zero. I’ve never used this company but they continue to send me mail saying ‘second attempt’ and act like I need to send them information. I have called to be removed but I still get mail from them.

Our last three bills have…
Our last three bills have doubled and tripled. Example, this month's bill is $362.94 through them. Last year's at the same time was $ 101 without them. We can't afford "saving money" through Clean Choice. I did plant maples on the east side of our house. That was the best thing EVER to keep our house cool. It took a while, but with an open field across from us, when the sun comes up, our house was baked! Now these trees keep us in the shade until about noon! We don't even kick on our air until 9 pm. We don't use any big appliances except the stove, between 4 and 7 PM.
Try planting trees.
BEST thing EVER! And no snooty customer service rep to argue with you.

Its 10/1...Just paid the LAST bill from them! $409.67? dang near FOUR times what we normally pay.
Becareful. They are NOT very good at explaining things AT ALL?
I'm all for cleaner energy, but not if it's taking away from the food budget. Nope!

After reading all of the…
After reading all of the reviews I've read I definitely WON'T be signing up for your service. I just got my second notice in the mail it said on it and I ripped up and thew it away. If I have to pay more for electric then you can keep it. I'm trying to save money not spend more. Shame I had to even give 1 star because zero would have been better.
