Went with selsco for my solar system, Not gonna say that it was a flawless situation, but with understanding of the complexity of the job and the economics we are all dealing with they did stand by their word and never gave up until the system was working correctly. Where lots of companies will drop everything in your lap and be done, they continued to operate with integrity and honesty. Thanks selsco system is working great now.?

When moving to charleston I was very excited about installing soler with battery backup on our new home. After getting multiple quotes I went with SELSCO and they provided a great design and wonderful installation. They have been responsive and also educational and I have appreciated their sales team, installation team and service team. Thank you so much.

A former victim of Power Home/Pink Energy. My installation/projected started in 2021 and wasn't finished before the company filed bankruptcy. I can't even express in words the mental and physical damage Power Home/Pink Energy caused and the loan company. After talking with lawyers and filing complaints. I was on the verge of filing bankruptcy. I was referred by Four County Electric to Sustainable Energy & Lighting Solutions. I called and immediately was transferred to John LaValley. John was so honest, down to earth, and understanding. I really appreciate him and his crew from this company. They was out in less than a week to inspect and see what needed to be done. We ultimately decided to do a ground mount The team was professional, and pleasant. They carefully did the trenching through our ‘secret back yard garden”. Sadly We are now producing little compared to what we use and our electric bill minimally impacted.

NOW a year into use we have been very disappointed. We are only producing 25-30% of our total energy needs. This was a fear I expressed when we looked at others in town utilizing solar prior to installation who were only getting 25-50% and I was assured this wasn’t SELSCO. We didn’t add any big energy drawing appliances and in fact we added insulation to our attic that dramatically improved and lowered our energy needs. I feel we were sold a system to make a sale with little thought to the practicality of the site/ sun exposure or actual benefit for us. I don’t know if we will ever recoup the cost in our lifetime.

Mr.Josh Boehels and his crew did a wonderful job in a rewire installation done by an electrician that let his license lapse. They were here two full days working to make sure the wiring of the solar panels was done correctly. All the process was fully explained and quality workmanship inside and outside the home. So many issues and system does not perform as promised. When I spent 65000 dollars I expected a little more than just knocking 50 dollars off my monthly electric bill. Got one answer from generac techs as why system don't perform. 11.68 kw system and only a inverter that can transfer 7.6 kw. Generac techs tell sustainable tech that inverter is undersized while at the phone at my house. Selsco engineered and designed system, even admit that they had no clue that the inverter was undersized.Then tell me they cant just give a 11 kw inverter to me. That it is 11 thousand dollars. Looked it up and its only 3500 hundred. Then was told will with the overhead for them it would be 11 thousand. Is that my problem that I left it in there hands to disgn the system properly?. Still waiting for resolve.
