Their first financing option is through Westerly Community Credit Union, which offers a fixed-rate solar loan with no upfront fees. A credit score of 700+ is required for the lowest rates. In addition, Sunlight Financial is a national solar loan provider that offers loans with low rates and upfront fees.
Solar loans are offered for 10, 12, 15, and 20-year terms with a 3.99% fixed rate on 10 and 12-year loans and a 4.99% fixed rate on the 15th and 20th years. Homeowners can also opt to pay a portion of the product in cash and finance the remaining balance.
