Malek Solar is part of the larger Malek Services company, and we could only find customer reviews for their non-solar clients. Still, the reviews provide an indication of what kind of company they are and the service a customer can expect.
The Malek blog states their technicians undergo ongoing training and testing to keep them up to date in skill proficiency and trade knowledge. Malek may charge higher rates because they intend to provide premium services and don’t want to cut corners. Conversely, their higher rates may be a consequence of being a larger company involved in multiple trades, which is causing inefficiencies and higher costs.
With Malek, you have the advantage of a larger company with experienced, expert staff for all of your home systems.
However, our impression is that solar installations seem to be an add-on service for their larger company. You may not get the same level of service you’d get from a company that specializes exclusively in solar installation.
On their website, they urge prospective clients to get quotes from multiple vendors. If you’re considering solar, getting a free quote from them wouldn’t hurt.
