For example, they will not charge you anything if an installed product is faulty and will replace it under manufacturer’s warranty which is for one year – but they will charge you all over again to install the new panel.

They simply do not have enough staff to rectify the fault without charging you to cover their costs. Bob Heinmiller Solar Solutions does provide maintenance services for its installations, and solar panels carry a 25-year warranty from the date of installation. The company also provides a 30-year labor and roof penetration warranty.

However, based on the customer feedback, these services do come at a cost for the company’s contractors to come out to the property for inspection. There are also costs involved with the dismantling and replacing of solar panels, which customers should be aware of prior to taking on the company’s service.
