For example, they will not charge you anything if an installed product is faulty and will replace it under manufacturer’s warranty which is for one year – but they will charge you all over again to install the new panel.

This doesn’t seem very fair for the customer in our eyes – you have to pay to install a new panel which is the pitfall of a small family owned company. They simply do not have enough staff to rectify the fault without charging you to cover their costs. In comparison to some of their competitors in the area, they also do not offer any monthly payment options either.

Bob Heinmiller Solar Solutions does provide maintenance services for its installations, and solar panels carry a 25-year warranty from the date of installation. The company also provides a 30-year labor and roof penetration warranty.

However, based on the customer feedback, these services do come at a cost for the company’s contractors to come out to the property for inspection. There are also costs involved with the dismantling and replacing of solar panels, which customers should be aware of prior to taking on the company’s service.

There is no indication that their repairs and maintenance are anything special compared to other companies that offer the same services free of charge; therefore, we urge potential customer to conduct thorough due diligence and comparisons before making a final decision.

While this is not sufficient reason to disregard the company as an option altogether, it is enough for us to advise caution when considering the company.
