Yeehaw, it’s getting hot in Texas! But don’t sweat it because more Texans are using clean energy to save on their bills and harness that scorching sun power. Texas is acing the solar game, ranking 1st in 2021 and 2nd in 2022. And if you want to be in the know about the latest solar innovations, RE+ Texas was the place to be.
RE+ Texas is a 2-day conference that creates valuable opportunities for solar company representatives and independent innovators to connect during utility-focus sessions and exhibitions. These sessions, aptly named, are geared towards further enhancing the satisfaction of residential, commercial, and industrial solar clients with green energy solutions.
Speakers at RE+ Texas also enlightened attendees on why it’s crucial to build solar systems that can handle weather and climate risks. In addition, they figured out ways in which stakeholders in the solar energy industry can work together to provide transparent services and reduce carbon emissions by making electric vehicles more accessible and efficient. This, in turn, will improve innovations, policies, and regulations in the Texan green energy sector.
This event costs at least $100 to participate in, but all of the profits went to two non-profit organizations, SEIA and SEPA. So not only were you able to make a smart investment in yourself by attending, but were also in a position to be giving back to your community!
