Solar Plus is a full-service solar company serving Atlanta, Charlotte, Greenville, Columbia and beyond. The key to our success is that company president Don Tonic actively directs all solar projects, and is dedicated to the hiring, training, and retention of quality installation experts. The entire Solar Plus team is dedicated to delivering a quality solar electric system on every project. In addition, we are dedicated to hiring, training and retaining a quality team of solar installation experts. The Solar Plus team contains skilled workers dedicated to designing and installing quality solar panel systems.

History

Having learned the solar trade and honed his skills in California’s “hot” solar market, Don moved to Atlanta just as its solar market was taking off. At first providing services to several local companies, he
founded Solar Plus in 2016 and more than tripled its business in the succeeding 3 years. His singular commitment to quality and steady vision helps assure an exciting future for the company.

Solar Plus provided us consultation and installation for a 4KW solar panel system for our single-family home. They handled all of the permits with the city and coordination with Georgia Power. System was installed on the day we agreed in October 2016, and Don, the owner, even monitors our output and gives us a call in case anything appears off. We did have an issue with water entering an area of the conduit around a year after the original installation and they came right out and rewired the whole system to ensure that there were no further issues.

Besides weather related delays, they finished when they said they would. After installation, they continued to monitor the system remotely to make sure that it was performing at the projected levels. Only issue is that because they are a smaller organization with quality installers there may be some lead time to get started, but that is the trade off for having a quality crew. Don, the owner, was my direct contact. Low: Slightly more pricey than other firms; however, you get what you pay for.
