Steve Anderson has been developing and promoting higher efficiency solar cell technology for lower cost and differentiated module solutions as well as leveraging strong outsourcing expertise for many years.

He was previously CEO of Surfect Technologies who SolarEmpower has been working with for over two years. Steve developed automated metal deposition tools and processes to achieve higher efficiency solar cells and modules, using advanced metallization technology. Also Steve developed Surfect’s semiconductor packaging to create innovative solar concentrator modules using improved electronics volume production techniques.

Steve was previously at Amkor, Texas Instruments & has had close working relationships with Q-Cells, Bosch Solar, Solarworld, Schott, Samsung, Hyundai, JA Solar, Suntech, Sunpower, and others. He led solar technology development programs for solar efficiency technology working directly with Los Alamos, Sandia, and The Fraunhofer Research Institute Germany.
