| After returning with the firm to London, he left to join the stockbrokers National Investment Group and then Raphael Zorn Hemsley, working in European Mergers & Acquisitions. |
| He then moved to France for several years to run a European rail transport company. |
| David is fluent in French and has a good knowledge of business practices in France and other continental European countries. |
